ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

Effective Date: [07-09-2025]

At Shitty Lizard Art, I’m committed to making this digital space inclusive, accessible, and welcoming for adults—because weird art is for every soul and brain.

Accessibility Commitment:

I aim to make my website usable for visitors of all abilities, including those using:

  • Screen readers

  • Keyboard navigation

  • Text resizing tools

  • Voice-command technology

I’m working toward meeting WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards across the site. As a solo creator, I know things might not always be perfect—but I’m constantly learning, updating, and improving the site to make it better for everyone.

Mature Content Disclaimer:

Some of the artwork featured on this website may include mature or adult themes. I strive to clearly label such content whenever possible and encourage discretion when browsing—especially in shared or public spaces. If you have questions about content accessibility or labeling, feel free to reach out.

 Ongoing Improvements:

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. I regularly review my content and layout to ensure it’s easy to navigate, legible, and usable for everyone. If you notice something that’s not working for you or your tech, I want to hear about it.

Need Help or Feedback?

If you’re having trouble accessing any part of the site or need help navigating, contact me directly and I’ll do my best to fix it fast.

TL; DR:

This is a safe space for weirdos of all kinds. Your ability to experience my art—whether it’s cute, cursed, mature, or magical—matters. Thanks for being here and helping me make this space better.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG [2.1 / Level AA] guidelines and accessibility standards. This site's contents have been adapted to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard use. As part of this effort, we have also:

  • Used the Accessibility Wizard to find and fix potential accessibility issues

  • Set the language of the site

  • Set the content order of the site’s pages

  • Defined clear heading structures on all of the site’s pages

  • Added alternative text to images

  • Implemented color combinations that meet the required color contrast

  • Reduced the use of motion on the site

  • Ensured all videos, audio, and files on the site are accessible

Declaration of partial compliance with the standard due to third-party content [only add if relevant]

The accessibility of certain pages on the site depends on contents that do not belong to the organization and instead belong to [WIX]. The following pages are affected by this: [all pages]. We therefore declare partial compliance with the standard for these pages.
