Shitty Lizard Art – Shipping Policy

Thank you for supporting my tiny art lizard empire! Below is everything you need to know about shipping when you order from Shitty Lizard Art.

 

Processing Time

  • Ready-to-ship items (prints, stickers, etc.): Ship within 7-21 business days.

  • Custom commissions: Shipping time varies depending on the project. I’ll provide updates and estimated timelines when we chat about your piece.

Everything is packed by hand with love, care, and possibly lizard scales.

Shipping Locations

  • I currently ship within the U.S. and select international countries.
    (If you’re unsure if I ship to you, feel free to ask before placing an order!)

Shipping Costs

  • Shipping is calculated at checkout at a current Flat Rate. Custom Commissions shipping will be calculated into price.

  • Occasionally, I offer free shipping promos—so keep an eye out!

Packaging

  • I use eco-friendly packaging whenever possible.

  • Art prints are shipped flat. Larger Commissions are shipped rolled, depending on size, and protected to prevent bending.

  • Most art prints are shipped flat. With museum quality protective plastic sleeve and a sturdy foam board backing to keep your artwork from minor damage.

  • Apparel is packaged securely to avoid damage during shipping.

Tracking & Delivery

  • Once your order ships, you’ll get a tracking number by email.

  • Delivery times depend on your location and the postal service (usually 7-10 business days within the U.S., longer for international orders).

  • I’m not responsible for shipping delays caused by postal services or customs.

Lost or Damaged Items

  • If your order arrives damaged, please contact me within 24 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. I’ll do my best to help replace or resolve it.

  • I am not responsible for lost items due to incorrect addresses or packages marked as “Delivered” by the carrier.

**Shipping info

  • If your order includes a few different types of merch (or a large quantity of prints), I will be shipping your orders in a few packages. You'll receive separate tracking numbers for each package once they ship. Clothing will be shipped in appropriately sized bags in a box with tissue to help protect the merch. ** I cannot be personally responsible for shipping once the order has been handed to USPS. Tracking numbers are provided on all orders shipped EXCEPT those orders shipped with postage stamps (usually smaller packages such as stickers). Tracking is on the order confirmation email and should be noted by the purchaser. It is the purchaser's responsibility to track packages. Not the Shop.

Shipping concerns

  • Purchasers must contact USPS with concerns of a suspected delayed, lost, missing etc. shipment. The Shop has no resources to answer these concerns - only the purchaser. Sellers are not responsible for shipping issues due to USPS or other alternative mailing services.

 

Policies: By reading this policy, you are agreeing to the terms within

  • Replacement policy: Due to many shop items being limited editions (one-of-a-kind items), there will be no replacements for orders. This includes any orders still in transit. 

  • Cancellation policy: Cancellations will be provided IF purchaser contacts the shop with suitable reason(s) within 24 hours of purchase. 

  • Exchange policy: Exchanges are never accepted by the shop for any items under any circumstances.

Common Questions:

  1. Why are some of my items arriving at different times?  When items ship in more than one package, they will inevitably ship at different rates of speed. Prints ship in flat mailers which are handled differently at the USPS than the apparel packages. Each package is provided with individual tracking numbers to the purchaser.

  2. Why is shipping not being refunded for my order?  As a seller and per my shops policies, Shitty Lizard Art is not responsible for shipping unless the shop made an error with the address. If the item(s) are being delivered to the provided adress from the buyer, and a tracking number was included, the seller must state a case with USPS. The shop is not responsible for any issues or delays by the United States Postal Service.

  3. My item(s) arrived damaged. What can I do now?  Please provide the Shop images of the damage. Once provided, the shop will begin the process of providing a refund if warranted. If photographic proof is not provided, or unclear, a refund will not be provided. If the buyer refuses to accept the package and has it returned through USPS, the discussion of a refund will begin once the item(s) have been returned to the Shop. This is not a guarantee of a refund, nor a full refund, and replacements will not be provided.
